I'm fundraising for...

Birmingham Hospice is the primary provider of adult hospice care in Birmingham and the surrounding areas.

At the hospice sites in Selly Park and Erdington, and in the community, services can include 24-hour care in the Inpatient Units, support at home, day services, counselling, wellbeing, pharmacy and therapies.

The hospice believes that anyone with a terminal diagnosis deserves to live well and make the very most of the time that remains.

This is why I decided to sign up to Rainbow Rush – the 5km colour run raising vital funds for Birmingham Hospice.

Last year, it cost £18.8 million to run the hospice services for 12 months. That’s £1,566,666 per month or £51,506 per day.

This year, Birmingham Hospice needs to raise £8 million through fundraising activity, income from retail shops and donations to cover the running costs.

Now, more than ever, its expert and compassionate care is needed to ensure people die comfortably, in a place of their choice, and with dignity.

By sponsoring my Rainbow Rush, you will enable families to treasure precious moments together at the end of life.

Donate now to make every moment matter for local people living with a terminal diagnosis.

Thank you for your support.
